Rooms at Morfa Newydd Care Home

We have 43 beds in the main building and 11 in the Residential Manor House.

We can offer both single and double occupancy and many have lovely views across the impressive gardens. Rooms are maintained to an extremely high standard and can be accessorised with personal belongings and photos to make a little home from home. To connect to the outside world, there are TV aerial sockets and telephone points in every room, as well as 24-hour call bell system for residents’ peace of mind.
All of the bedrooms are cleaned on a daily basis by our dedicated Domestic team….it’s the little things!

We can't thank you enough for the wonderful care Dad received from you all during the last few years. There was never any doubt that he enjoyed every minute and we know he kept you busy! much appreciation for the dignity show to dad as he passed away and the respect to the family in the hours after. Thank you again for everything - Chris, Becky and Family.
The caring profession does not receive the kudos or acknowledgement that it deserves from the wider community. That being said, your staff at Morfa Newydd are dedicated and clearly give 100% of their time and devotion to the residents. This was self-evident to me during my daily visits. I found all of the staff approachable and caring in their approach to the care of both Vincent and Vernon. As twins, they were very different in character but had their unique ways, Vernon with his choice of phrase and Vincent with his cheeky smile.

Just a few lines to thank all the staff at Morfa Newydd for making Mum's last few years as comfortable as possible. We all know Mum could be awkward sometimes and very interesting at other times, but you all made allowances whenever needed, as this I am told was the Dementia. We particularly would like to thank Donna and Tracy who were with Mum the day she died, we know that they did everything possible. Thank you Andrea for being so kind to Mum.Love from All of Winnie's Family
Dad was 98 years old when after a fall in hospital he developed considerable nursing needs. My brother and I looked round many nursing homes and called in as we happened to see the Morfa Newydd sign from the road.We were shown round and were very impressed with the caring way that staff were treating residents and we just knew that this was where we felt that Dad’s needs would best be met.Andrea met Dad in hospital and did a very thorough assessment of his needs with us all which helped Dad a lot when it was time for him to give Morfa Newydd a try.We soon left our worries behind as Dad was made to feel very welcome and comfortable and soon settled in to his new “home”. We visited a lot during the week and weekends and staff always took time to chat with us and Dad which we very much appreciated. He was treated with the utmost dignity and respect, and received excellent nursing care.I would thoroughly recommend Morfa Newydd, Andrea and her Team.Peter & Lynn
My Wife, Mary Davida was in Nursing Care at Morfa Newydd for a total time of fifteen months. During that period I can't speak highly enough of the level of care and attention she recieved from the staff there.Regards,Elfed Lloyd Jones
